Kathy 
has been a professional dog trainer since 2005 and is the manager of Professional Animal Watching Service (PAWS), a pet sitting company. She has owned dogs for 40 years and has been actively training since 1995. She has trained her Golden Retrievers in obedience, tracking, and agility. All of Kathy’s dogs have achieved their Therapy Dog International rating.
Presently, Kathy is competing with her ten year old Golden Retriever” Emily “(Dashwood’s Winning Spirit TD, CGC,TDI,CD-C NAC, EJC, ECC, TG-N, PK2, PG1, PJ2,), at the Veterans level in USDAA and the Elite level in NADAC. Emily enjoys her therapy dog work at an Adult Daycare where she adds trick performance and freestyle dance to her visits. Kathy is also currently competing with her seven year old Golden Retriever “Ellie” (Dashwood’s Shining Light CGC,TDI,CD-C, OAC, O-NJC, S-TN-O, TG-O, NCC, PG1, PJ1) in the open level of NADAC and training for obedience competition and competing with her four year old rescue Coton de Tulear "Rosemary" (Basil’s Dew of the Sea CGC, TDI,OAC,O- NJC, TN-N,TG-N) in NADAC, USDAA and AKC agility and is training for Obedience competition.
