Visit us in our clean, bright dog training center! We're conveniently located in central Massachusetts, at the Rt. 135/Rt. 30 rotary, in Westborough -- a stone's throw from Rts. 9 and 495.

Our 14,000-square foot training facility with 3 fully matted, gated rings, offers plenty of room for obedience, agility and a variety of events.

Sue UsherSue, has been a professional dog trainer for several years. She has owned dogs all her life and has been actively training since the late 1980s. After being introduced to clicker training, Sue began training in obedience, fly ball, agility with her golden retriever, Ben. (MACH3 Usher’s Ben There Dun That CD RA MXS2 MJG2 OF ADHF 2003 -2013). Sue and Ben competed in AKC Obedience, Rally, and Agility for 8 years, achieving titles in each sport, including his MACH 3 in 2012. Ben qualified and competed at the AKC National Agility Championship in 2009, 2010, and 2011. In 2010 Ben placed 8th overall in the 24 inch division at the Tulsa OK NAC. He met the qualifications to be inducted into the Golden Retriever Club of America’s Agility Dog Hall of Fame in 2009 and was the recipient of Yankee Golden Retriever Club’s Perpetual Agility Dog Trophy for 3 consecutive years.

Sue Usher

Sue's 4 year old Golden Retriever, Buzz ( MACH Gaylan’s Grey Goose Happy Hour MXS MJS OF ADHF), competes in AKC agility and is training for competition obedience and field with hopes of competing next year. In Oct. 2013, Buzz earned his first MACH title and will be competing in the AKC Agility Nationals in PA in March 2014. They have also discovered the exciting sport of Dock diving this past summer.


Sue’s 5 year old rescued Miniature Pinscher, Pogo (Hi-Top Pogo NA NAJ )is a work in progress. Pogo has taught Sue about focus, reinforcement and great patience!!! Sue has newly adopted a 9 year old Min Pin, Zeus, (Zeus Almigty BN CD RE MX, MXJ, MJB). Zeus was trained by his previous owner in Nebraska for the first 8 years, and now they are developing as an agility team.

Sue has been employed as a veterinary technician or veterinary hospital manager for over 30 years. She has also worked as a dog groomer, and run a busy pet sitting/ dog walking service. Sue, along with her husband Joe, run two businesses: one that manufactures aluminum splints for cats and dogs, and a soft crate repair service. She is passionate about helping homeless pets, and post Hurricane Katrina, spent a week volunteering at a large shelter in Mississippi with Best Friend’s Animal Society. She currently lives with Buzz, a Golden Retriever, 3 Miniature Pinschers: Pogo, Tiny and Zeus , 2 older mixes: Pico and The Jetz, and 2 tolerant dog savvy cats. All are rescues or re-homed except for Buzz. Sue has studied with many of the top New England Agility Instructors since 2005. She has trained 5 Golden retrievers, 3 miniature pinschers, a miniature schnauzer, a beagle, and several mixed breed rescue dogs. Sue strives to make training fun and to be consistent for her training partner!
