As of December 31, 2021 SureFire Dogs Training Center has closed it's doors.

We want to thank all our clients and our fabulous staff for 10 years of wonderful training with you all.

Christie and Louise are retiring and though we are sad to be leaving you all we are excited for the next phase of our lives.

Diane, has been actively involved in dog training for over 20 years. She is a longtime member of the APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers) and has earned her CPDT-KA rating (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed). She believes in working with each dog and owner as individuals rather than a one size fits all “cookie cutter “style of training. Diane is well versed in clicker training and positive training for pet dogs as well as training for owners and dogs interested in preparing for competition in Obedience, Rally and Dog Agility. She also specializes in new puppy training, working with owners who have newly adopted dogs and owners and dogs with special needs, such as aggression, resource guarding, and reactivity.

Diane has competed and titled her own dogs in AKC obedience and Rally, CDSP obedience, and Cynosports Rally, Agility and Tracking. She has also trained with her dogs in Scent work, Treiball and Barnhunt. She continues to compete with her beagles Willy Deux Deux King RN and Scooter RA RL1 AX AXJ CGC PK3 SR PD1 PS2 PJ2 PG1 CD-C. Her beagle Buddy(Buddy Dillon King CDX, TD, TDI, CGC, TT, NA (1991-2003) was a certified therapy dog through TDI (Therapy Dog International) and spent time visiting nursing homes, hospitals, and schools.

Diane has also worked as a veterinary assistant at a holistic animal clinic and is often referred by veterinarians for clients with behavior issues. She continues to hone her skills in her free time attending workshops, seminars, watching videos and reading anything related to dog behavior.
