General Guidelines/Restrictions   

  • Only CASH OR CHECKS allowed for payment on site, Credit Cards for class online only.
  • Between each class we will be sanitizing our entire facility's communal areas, door handles, counter tops etc.
  • Clear Safety Shield at our Front Desk.
  • Hand sanitizer available at doors and various areas of the facility.
  • We request that upon entry, you please sanitize your hands.
  • Everyone entering our facility must wear a Mask.
  • Everyone please practice Social Distancing, we have placed Blue marks on the floor to help you.
  • We request that any employee, trainer or client feeling ill to stay home.
  • PRIOR to entering the building, all employees, trainers & clients please READ and be able to answer "NO" to the COVID-19 Questionnaire posted on our doors
  • All classes will be off-set by 10 minutes.
  • TRAINING TREATS – Please bring your own training treats, we will also have treats available for purchase.

Visit us in our clean, bright dog training center! We're conveniently located in central Massachusetts, at the Rt. 135/Rt. 30 rotary, in Westborough -- a stone's throw from Rts. 9 and 495.

Our 14,000-square foot training facility with 3 fully matted, gated rings, offers plenty of room for obedience, agility and a variety of events.

Tracking Clinic with AKC Tracking Judge Martha Campbell

September 7 & 8, 2013

8:00AM - 4:30PM

Clinic Content: 

    • Getting you and your dog on track!
    • Training techniques and track laying skills
    • Reading your dogs tracking signals
    • Types of scenting, glove indication & motivation
    • Working on 7 or more short tracks with your dog
       
      Martha Campbell  became hooked on tracking almost 20 years ago after being lost in the woods and trusting her dog to find the way out! Since then, Martha has been extremely active in all facets of canine tracking. She became a member of the Tracking Club of Massachusetts in 1996 and is currently the president. She was Tracking Test Chair from 1999-2003 for Concord Dog Training Club. In 2004 she was approached to join a Search and Rescue team, C.A.S.T. (Canine Alert Search Team). Martha’s first dog specialized in Air Scenting or Live Find. Dieter, her 4 year old German Shepherd Dog, earned his first Tracking title with IPWDA (International Police Working Dog Association) before the age of 2 and continued on to get his Trialing IPWDA Title less than a year later. He is currently working on his AKC VST title.
       
      Martha has worked for 5 yrs with various individuals in the SAR field as well as Law Enforcement. She is certified in 4 levels of FEMA Training, Crime Scene Preservation, Lost persons behavior, Man Tracking, and 2 levels of Compass and GPS navigation. Martha has worked very closely with Christopher Weeks, a renowned dog tracking and trailing Police Trainer. Martha also joined MASAR, Maine Search & Rescue in 2009. In 2012, Martha started working on all of the necessary AKC judging requirements and as of May 2013, Martha is now an AKC Tracking Judge!

What to bring:

    • Crate, dog towel, and portable chair Sunblanket/reflector for crate or car
    • Plenty of water for you and your dog!
    • Flat buckle collar and short lead, tracking harness (non restrictive), tracking lead/line
    • Appropriate clothing and footwear for any and all weather conditions (The clinic is held rain or shine)
    • Soft exciting treats – lots of them!
    • Old Gloves, socks, wallets, definitely old for the dog to find. (at least 3 articles) Paper, pens, clipboard and whatever other note taking equipment you may want.
    • Lunch
